Gold City Football Club emerged as a beacon of hope and opportunity from the vibrant streets of Ghana, fuelled by the passion and vision of its founders, Kente Kufuor and his wife.

The journey of Gold City FC began in the corridors of academia, where Kente Kufuor, while studying Football Business at UCFB, nurtured a dream that transcended borders and boundaries. With a deep-seated love for football ingrained in his being, Kente embarked on a mission to give back to his homeland and ignite a footballing revolution in Ghana.

Founder/Director

Having experienced firsthand the transformative power of football, both as a grassroot and a student of the game, Kente Kufuor recognized the untapped potential that lay within the raw talent of Ghana's youth. Inspired by a desire to cultivate this talent and elevate it to international standards, he, along with his wife, took the bold step of founding Gold City FC.
